Radical News.....
October
2009 The Radical European Masters series supports both the Le Mans
Series and the German Touring Car package, DTM, in a hugely succesful
Radical single-marque race series for both single and two-driver teams.
With an hour of testing, half an hour of qualifying and two 45-minute
races the series provides plenty of track time at Europe's top racing
venues. Grid sizes this year are approaching forty cars, which provides
a great spectacle and lots of close racing.
We are now approaching the final round of the Radical European Masters
in Dijon, France on October 9-11.
This should be interesting from many perspectives, including the superb
track and still open championship results. I should also mention that
our supporting act, the barely camouflaged sportprototypes by Mercedes
and Audi, are also in attendance in the form of the DTM. You may remember
that during the last parallel match of DTM and the Radical European Masters
at Le Mans a year ago, top lap times were the same for both. What would
happen, if we started paying our drivers?

Reigning McLaren Autosport BRDC Young Driver of the Year
Alexander Sims gave a display of his undoubted talents, by taking his
works run SR8 to a double victory on his sports car racing debut.
The UK Cup and European Masters annual UK get together assembled
a magnificent 39 car grid. Derek Johnston/Stuart Moseley’s SR8 lined
up on pole for the first race, 0.5secs quicker than Sims, while John Stanley/James
Swift’s SR8LM shared row two with Terrence Woodward/Ross Kaiser’s
SR8.

September 2009 After a
sunny weekend and great and challenging races at the Nürburgring
the 2009 Radical European Masters is going to another highlight: Starting
September 10, we will hold races 9 and 10 of the Radical European Masters
at the "Home of British Motor Racing", the traditional circuit
in Silverstone. At this round we will again team up with our guests from
the Radical UK Cup.
June 2009 This month was

from Brands Hatch were calling.... NEWS FROM THE UK CUP....
