Movember Fundraiser 26th November at The Slip Portaferry

The aim of Movember is to make male health fun by putting the Mo
(moustache) back on the face of fashion and in the process raise some
serious funds for men’s health issues.

At the start of Movember guys register with a clean shaven face. The Movember participants known as Mo Bros then have the remainder of the month to grow and groom their Mo (slang for moustache) and along the way raise awareness and funds for men’s health issues – specifically prostate cancer.

Movember culminates at the end of the month at the Gala Partés. These glamorous and groomed events will see Tom Selleck, Hulk Hogan and Borat look-a-likes battle it out for their chance to take home the prestigious Man of Movember title.

Pub quiz starting at 7.30pm, £2 donation per person and 5/6 people per team – prize for the winning team

Raffle tickets will be in on sale with first prize a chance of winning a voucher from Race School Ireland!!

We are donating £5 from every castle hired in November and giving a £55 voucher to raffle.

www.simplymobile.co.uk have donated a LG GW300 mobile phone and Makula 5 in Bangor have donated a meal voucher towards this fundraiser as a prize

‘Christi & Rico’ have offered donate their fee for providing the entertainment straight to the Movember fund!!

(All funds raised from Movember Party will be sent directly to Dr Joe O’Sullivan at the N. Ireland Cancer Trials Centre, Belfast).
